I have a Windows 8 64-bit computer and when connecting the Geek Out 1000, the following message appears:
"Setup requires that the device is plugged in. Please connect the device you want to install and make sure it is turned on. If your device is currently connected, please unplug and replug it"
I tried unplugging the device & plugging it back in as well as re-installing the driver to no avail.
Is there any way to get around this for a successful install?
I only have one week left to return this product if it doesn't work for me.
