I have recently started using Linux, which automatically switches between 44.1khz and 48khz depending on the audio that is playing. I have found that when the OS swithces from 44.1khz to 48khz, the Geekout only produces static until I unplug and replug it, whereupon it is fine after it initially starts up in 48khz mode. I did not notice this in Windows because it doesn't automatically switch modes, however upon testing it there, the issue happens in Windows too.
Does anyone experience this problem, and is there a solution outside of forcing Pulseaudio to stay in 44.1khz mode?
I should also add that the light correctly changes to 48khz; it's almost like it's just not informing the DAC chip itself of the change and makes it go haywire when it expects 44.1khz.
